rear window regulator

My right rear window dropped and will not go up. I hear a noise inside when i push on the switch. I was told the regulator was bad. Is this correct and how hard is it to replace? And is there a thread to fixing this with some type of direction.

sometimes one of the "track clips" is broken, common failure in these cars.

Remove the door panel, before you decide what needs to be replaced and take a look.
