    Hey #sailsboats!
What is the typical issue, when a solution like this is needed? To "lasso" the band in the transmission?

    Thank You

If the band anchor is removed (by someone who thinks it is a fill plug), then you lose third gear.

As in third gear cannot engage, the engine just revs as if in neutral.

Some guys have posted that the car can be driven with manual gear selection, skipping from 2 to 4 and vice versa. But I've never tried it...

My car is not engage the reverse..
The "Arrow" is shining, and like yesterday, it backed up fine for once, but after that, putting in reverse, nothing at all happens..
(Ok, too.. then idling , the engine goes up and down between about 700-1200 rpm.., but thats another issue..)
Ps. where do I buy a decent VIDA?
    Thanx
    Glenn
