Well, my awd system has started to grind, I took the bevel gear off, and there' no play in it whatsoever, its crack on!
The problem is the connecting sleeve between the gearbox and the gear. The splines have been worn away, and finally given up. Problem is its also worn down the splines on the gearbox output, so it looks like a new gearbox.
