I like it.. It will take a little getting used to, as its not your "traditional" light/push/bull bar. but it looks sleek, unobtrusive and suits my nycparkingnightmaredriverswhobackintoyou fears.
I honestly thought that there would be a lot more metal but i like the way it uses the existing mount locations. I'm not taking it out to the brush so I cant ask for much more than that.

When are we gonna get a hold of these babies?

Any idea what this might do to the airbag sensitivity?

Those 14mm's go right into your bumper beam, I'd expect NIL.

Randy is a genious, and mandrel bends = cash to spend !!

I will get one this fall 100% - I LOVE this design, and with a spacers I can do my Hella 550's pendulum style!

    Thanks Griff!

Let me get the first one back to VA with the final finish, end caps and installation. Randy called me for my address, it's complete at his place. Once in my hands, I can make any further mod requests before final production.

    Thanks for the patience folks.

You are correct Lex. We'll have to make sure they are for "Off Road Use Only" but lamps for the bar are all over the spectrum.

    Thanks Lex.

I vote for RAW, and we all finish them as we see fit. This will make ordering easy, and finish durability in transit, and cost savings.

Can I get a 3rd tab in the middle? Any way to get tabs on the bottom? Is their releif to the bar, could I just invert it? Randy sugested a spacer, and I can go there if I need to....

    Michael,

Any idea if this is an option, and how it may affect the cost?

    It just arrived folks...

The prototype has just two tabs and is finished in silver powder coat. The finish is super. The packaging was top notch, not a scratch found anywhere.

We can get them any way you want them. In all honesty, the prototype cost me $400 with a $40.85 shipping and handling charge to 22554 (NOVA).

I'll get the bar on this evening. Directions are very simple and straight forward. This is as close to stock part as I've ever seen. Randy Ellis Design has done an extremely well thought through example here.
