Any issues with the VIN on the Dash swap?

Those calipers are teeny....

nah just pop it off and swap the vins on the dash around not a big deal I have done that a few times on dash swaps on the Gen1 cars.

I am in need of complete set of dark color leather seats, to replace the cloth seats in the '07 S60 2.5T.

Only set I have is from a 05 S60T5 front seats and 01 Rear seats ... thats it

Justin, what color are the front seats? I believe seats are interchangeable between '01 to '04 MY and '05 to '07 MY, so the rear seat from the '01 won't work in my '07, but the '05 S60 seats should work.

How much for the front seats?

Also new desicion on the car front just going to end up chopping this car up.

I have to many parts on it that I want to put on the S60T5M .

So if anyone runs apon a lower milege bad tranny or motor 01+ XC I am very intrested.

Just cant justify spending any more time or money on a 175,000 mile car ....

New to the XC site and I am glad I search around a bit....finding your topic!
I am in the middle...nearly complete I guess Aussies first manaul swap.
Car had same issue as your red one and customer wanted a manual.
All wiring hooked up as per Volvo wiring manual but I need to ask you if you can let me know how you got your XC to run? Was it a Volvo download?

Ours just kicks over and stalls. I guess the ecu is still thinking it is an automatic.
Can you help out???? Saw your picture of the two wires, was that for the start circuit as I has to do this to get it to start?
Did you remove tcm ecu?

Any input is very much appreciated as I tried Volvo (they even send tech reguest to Sweden) but they can't help or won't tell.

On your question to cruise and reverse lights not working these two work from separate modules and must get activate through the CAN network I think.

Reverse may need to be hooked up the old fashioned way and the cruise operation for clutch pedal hooked up to brake sensor.

As you said getting it to run is first issue.

just those two wires were connected and the car started right up.

My TCU is still in the car and I never removed that

I am pretty sure those are the start / park circuit .

All I was going to do for the reverse lights was run a power wire to the tranny then through the reverse switch and then wire to the reverse lights all by themselvers.

? on the cruise none of my manual swap cars has the cruise ever worked.

I woudl see if you can find a wrecked manual P2 car and swap the harness and everything over it would be cheaper and easier to do since getting the tune for it seems to be retardedly expensive and not finished yet ...

Haven't worked on the car today but will look into that wire.
One of the wires I connected to earth so it cranked over but no run.
I can rewire the tcm CAN wires back to stock and see what happens.
Did you have any error messages pop up for the tranismission in the display???

I get a CEL for tranmission errors and no shifter connection
