XC90 T6 transmission swap for 2.5T drivetrain

I have read so many T6 transmission failure posts and "Transmission service urgent" errors that I would have thought someone would have just found a 2.5T drivetrain (engine and trans) and just swapped for this setup. Has anyone done this? the only other issue can think of would be the ECU that would have to swapped as well. I have swap engines in more than one BMW and VW to know that it's not impossible. I haven't seen anything out there surrounding this approach, but we all know it would be a better long term solution (if it is straight forward) and there are plenty of good 2.5T drivetrains from wrecked XC90's.

You'll need to swap out all the modules that runs on Can-Bus, not just the ECM; Otherwise dash will light up like a X'mas tree

For example:
ECM - Engine
CEM - Central Electronic Moduel, the main one.
TCM - Tranny
DEM - Diff
And any other that are VIN specific, and can not be reloaded by VIDA.

More cost effective to just sell the T6 and buy a V8 or 2.5T.
