    Default A small trip in a country whitout Volvos

    But with big old American cars... Cuba!

    We got not less than 30oC every day, absolutely no clouds, and so much fun.



    Funny to see thoses old grannies with Soviet era Lada on the side...



    1st time I've seen blue window tint...

    Every night, they pass through with a smokey van for insects... Geez that smoke smell like sh***!

    The Cubans must be good at fabricating parts for all those old cars they keep on the road.

    I've speak with one who where fluent in french (my 1st language), and he tell me that his 51 Chevy have been repaint every 5 years, the engine was russian (they makes copies of big american V8), but the carburetor is italian, the exhaust is home made, the intake is german, etc. Funny guy he was! Some of these old cars have diesel engine (in line 6 I think).

    And these old cars aren't the exception, they are the rule! They are everywhere!
