Default Keeping plastic body panels clean

So I guess our last trip to the mountains with some dirt and salt on the road seemed to leave some grey colour on the panels... this picture is AFTER washing the car!

What do you guys do? Oddly enough, after 4,000 miles and 6 months of ownership, this is the first time the panels have gotten this dirty and didn't simply wash off. Hoping they're not going to be a pain to keep clean!

I used a product called TrimShine, it worked extremely well to get them back to a nice dark color. Been through mud, rain, snow, automatic car washes without fading at all yet after using it. I used probably about half the spray can for the whole trim, and it was cheap.

Super easy to use as well, clean the surface and just spray it about 10 inches away. It doesn't clean, but if your trim is stained or discolored like that it will make it nice again! =)

go to the store and pick up a box of mr clean magic erasers (get the four pack, you'll need them).

those magic foam blocks will get rid of that junk.
it takes a little time and effort but the results are worth it.

Default Stoners' Trim Shine - spray on - no rubbing

Will lube the trim back to showroom quailty.

Cheaper and more effective than Armor All.

I'm using Chemical Guys Silk Shine right now. Its water based, so it will wash off after a few rains.

When I picked up the car, I completely degreased it from all of the silicone loaded junk the dealer used on it. My driveway looked like an oil slick. I then applied some Silk Shine to all the plastic trim and topped it the next day with Optimum Spray Wax.

They look good now, lets see after a few days.

If your trim is SERIOUSLY faded, after you degrease it, try Black WOW .
