Default Is anyone running 19" wheels?

I tried unsuccessfully to run a search on this. If anyone is running 19s and likes the ride, I sure would like to know more about the tire and wheel combo.

That car looks mean! In a good way.

    Perfect choice of backdrop.

How's the ride quality on 19"?

I'm curious about the ride as well... it looks really nice but in NYC It would be a toss up between damaging them on potholes or waking up and finding your car on bricks.

Haha, a set of Volvo wheels locks can save you thousands.

The ride is actually very smooth, here in Taipei we have endless road constructions, subway constructions....etc so potholes and utility manholes are abundant; I moved from 235/50/18 to 245/40/19 and it is not that much of a difference in ride quality, fwiw I find it best when the tire pressure is kept at 32psi all the way around.

Oh, and they work well off pavement too without any problems.

Thanks for the input! I think I am going to give the 19's a try. Heico Volutions on the Ocean Racer should look pretty cool. What is MTE Stage 3+?

    Glad I can help.

MTE is a Volvo tuning company from Sweden.
I had them do a Stage 3+ tune on my car that includes KKK K24 turbo, 465cc injectors, Front Mount Intercooler upgrade.

What kind of results did you get out of it and for what kind of money? Was it a straightforward exercise to go through?

    Default MTE Tune = IPD

I am pretty sure MTE is IPD's partner for their softloader performance software. Search the IPD site and they mention them.
