My inboard clock in my 03 XC90 is going bananas, sometimes when i start the car it starts a countdown and stops after a while on a random time. I adjust the clock and it does the same after some time. Whats going on?

I recall there was a software upgrade to address a wacky trip odometer issue a while back but I'm not sure if it applied to the clock. You might want to ask your dealer to check if there is an SW update available for it too.

My clock bugged me for 6 months, then i tapped gently on the rod for clockadjustment sideways and up & down, and HEY ITS OK
Seems like some buggy conection inside the clock, because everytime i have adjusted the clock it goes bananas until i do my fingertapping trick.
