    Default Tribeca Redesign

When the Subaru Tribeca came out a few years ago, I found it stunningly unattractive - especially from the front. But now I see they've put a new face on it for 2008, and the new look is so bland and featureless that I now find myself missing the aggressive ugliness of the original.

At least the old one was trying for greatness (or at least novelty) - this new face strikes me as an desparate attempt to be an inoffensive as possible.

You are so right; blend is the name of the game. But again Japanese never have figured out how to designed "soulful" cars. They can build very reliable cars, but they lack design creativity. Sterility of design seems to be something that they cannot shake off.
