    Cool

    Hey colorado,

Hot as hell here in the desert! That probe does stick out thru the hole, it is identical to the one on my 2001 M-B E320, same location...

Unfortunately, mine was reading spot on today...111 degrees here in Phoenix today.

Default chk engine light & code 0073 "ambient air temp sensor" ??

2005 XC70 - I'm getting a check engine light and the code says it is a P0073 which I see is the ambient temp sensor. The AC has had the hot/cold issue these past months and they are probably related.
Need to figure out what to fix to get the chk engine to go off & secondarily to get the AC working properly.

    Any thoughts?.

Default 2012 XC70 ambient temp sensor location

Hey All - I have a 2012 XC70 3.2 that just spun past 100K miles and just recently the ambient temp sensor started to read high, like 5-8 degress F high, consistently. I am seeing older XC70s where the part is located in front bumper, but wondering if anybody can show me exactly where mine is on my 2012?

    Thanks!

    - Tim
