So I just got the windows tinted last night. Not the best pics, but it's what I have right now. But no longer feels like I'm driving a giant fish bowl.

Over the weekend, I replaced the timing belt, timing belt tensioner & idler, water pump, drive belt and tensioner, entire PCV system, and spark plugs.
It had a fresh oil change not long ago. But...
So I just recently did something similar. Here is my posts from another forum:
Here is the setup I'm using:
B&M 70264 Cooler (looks to be the same as Anthezoll started with) -...
If I were in that situation, I would either rebuild the tranny myself, or remove it and take it to a reputable local shop to rebuild. As my XC only has 140k miles on it, and I plan to keep it for 6-8...
Don't mind JRL. He knows a lot, but can come off harsh. Don't let him bother you too much.
JRL runs a business buying and selling cars. That is his reasoning behind not divulging his purchase price. But don't get too worked up over his responses. He is extremely knowledgeable, but can come...

Thanks for your reply. I'm not worried so much about it being out of date. I'm worried about when the belt was last changed. The car is an 06 and has almost 140k miles. It was due for a timing belt...
Somewhere I was reading and JRL posted that there is a date code on timing belts. I asked him, but he said he just got the info from his mechanic:
So still looking to see if anyone can...
This. I do all my own mechanic work, and only torque the important stuff. I usually just go by feel. It takes too much time to look up torque values and getting the torque wrench out. Only when I am...
I've heard that the Sachs struts, made in Germany, that FCP sells are the exact same as made for Volvo. Is this incorrect? Are you saying Volvo parts are not made by Sachs?
FCP sells the front...
From what I've found with FCP kits is they are only there for convenience. They don't really save you any money. They list out all the components. If there is something you don't need, just buy all...
Congrats! Very nice looking car!
Sucks that I just saw this. I would have bought most of those parts. Oh well.
So what is this JRL mod? Link to something?
