I have also had them in my XC70 for 3 years with no problems or slippy clamp issues (I bought the IPD clamps). Much better than the stock rubber couplers.

I have a short in my driver's side that occasionally causes the mirror to drift and I have to reset it from the...

The two times I have been rear ended (both people hit me at a relative speed of 40-60 km/h), the damage was about $3000.00 CDN (parts, labour and taxes) each time.
It is not just the bumper cover...
So, multiple attempts at gloss and flat black kept ending up looking the same. This is the best that I can do, hope it helps.

Have you changed tires or driving patterns (more stop and go city) recently?
Do they have winter gas formulations in your area (they tend to be worse on millage)?

Thanks for all the suggestions, I have or I will / I am starting work through them. Will keep post updated.
It's more of a knocking than a thumping. The audio quality is not that good, my phone seems to be making it more muffled than it actually is.
Yep, everything was replaced for the front suspension...
This has been driving me nuts for the last few months. I have knocking when going over bumps, worst between 20 km/h and 80 km/h on rough roads. Not to prevalent over 80 km/h, but it's faintly there....
I have the Volvo double DIN frame (which is different from the MY05+ trim). The area where the small vertical pocket used to be is not too flimsy on mine and I was planning on putting the boost gauge...
I looked up the info in VIDA for the rear spring seat (5 in the Tasca diagram) the original is PN-8646802 which has been superseded by PN-30681745. Both PNs return the same part on the Tasca website...
What brand of bearings is he using, Volvo, Lemförder, whitebox?
You guys are lucky down there in the US, the Nokians are running ~$200 CDN (+taxes and enviro fees) each up here in Canada.
The 235/60/R16 is the closest to stock except for width (still fits fine) and is usually a more common offering; but everything is within a ~1/2 of stock with both the 225 and 235, so I don't think...
My understanding from Nokian's site is that the WR has been discontinued (at least in some markets). http://www.nokiantires.com/tyre?id=11884&group=1.01&name=Nokian+WR

Philips drive will cam-out (as designed) if excessive torque is applied, this is for both tightening and loosening. Invariably if you are forcing a screw that is stuck or seized you will end up...
Any fastener that matches the thread will work, make sure to match the grade if there are grade markings.
The Torx screw is there partially for tamper resistance by regular owners, but mostly to...
You need VIDA installed on your PC, without that the DiCE module is useless. All data and setting manipulations are performed in VIDA.
Ouch on the MPG, I already took a hit (I think) running the Geolanders over the Pirelli's, but I also moved and do more city stop/go driving now and it ain't pretty. 15L/100KM ~15MPG.
