Just another thought, would an ODB type reader pick up any codes in the Air Con Area i.e. Bad Control Valve?

I took my V8 XC90 2008 into the Garage today to get some Shocks fitted at the front and also to ask them to check the Aircon.

It just doesn't seem to blow ice cold. It blows cool, but not cold.

Howdy, just about to get into Volvo - purchasing an XC90 V8 registered end of 2008 and so I think is a 2009 MY.

Anyone on here know what the replacement part to this is?
Looks like an Airvent but...
