Oh thanks! I didn't know them. They are the cheapest I found for this ballast!
I also broke this valve on mine. Last time I went to the dealer, they were unable to locate a part number or to tell me how it will cost as they didn't see it on their parts diagram. And it was at...
Yep! Experience is the addition of all your mistakes! Even if you don't have the side LED, you don't want your backlight compartment half fill with water! ;)
Thanks! Do not forget to place the LED wire downward otherwise the water flowing from the roof will follow the wire to the inside of the light. One of my lower tail light had some water that has...
ETM = Electronic throttle module
I went to a specialized shop for hitches where they installed an after-market 1¼ trailer hitch. But one year later, I returned there and asked them to modify it with a 2 inch square tube instead of...
As I see, the front one seems to break more often than the rear one.
I think you're right. It is impossible to use this. If you try to use it, the threads on the top of the rod won't go through the top mount so it will be impossible to screw the nut.
Hello!
I'm changing my rear shocks in my 2006 XC70. I have the FOUR-C shock and I ordered my new shocks at RockAuto. I receive identical shocks as my OEM that were still in the car. But in the box...
I can imagine back to the 40's or 50's without electronic alignment table, I'm sure they use some trick to do this job. Maybe a special tool, a rule made especially for this.... Your question is...
I'm curious to see if someone can do this at home. I always though, maybe I'm wrong, that you need a special alignment table with electronic mesurement to do this. Look forward to see answers to your...
Yes they were the same size. Maybe because the old one was the original that came with the car and I replace it with an OEM. I can't talk for aftermarket bolt size though
I didn't replace both in my case as it is not like struts/shocks. It is not mandatory but as some said, maybe the other one is in the end of its life. But I agree, you cant save to buy cheap one as...
I replaced my left front bearing last friday. I was able to identify which one was defect because the sound was heavier when i turned the steering to the right so the weight of the vehicule was...
A spark plug socket is very long. You'll need a very long torx bit. Mine aren't. Maybe the trick with a regular socket, a vise grip and a torx bit is the best.
I'll have to do the rear shocks soon. I plan to use a crowfoot socket for the top mount screw. Anyone tried this? It will let the space for the counter hold torx bit to do its job. Thanks for the...
It is very amazing that Volvo dealers, when it comes to buy new cars, prefer 100% of nothing than 50% of something...

Here is a picture of how the tail lights are before the modification (on the left) and how they are after (on the right). The only bulbs that are modified are the two position lights on the lower...
Just one thing to be aware. There is a seal outside of the tail light, to protect from water to get inside the tail light. This seal is like a piece of thin black foam, or maybe like a thin neoprene....
Here is the place where I put the plate for my electrical connections and my two resistances. As you can see, I fix the plate with two screws on the frame of the car. This is where all connections...
Ok, so here are the videos. For the first one, you'll see the upper tail light without the LED strip. Just to see what the groove look like. You'll see that the groove stops where the gray plastic...
Oups, sorry, my bad, I forgot you. I'll post something soon! Sorry for the delay!
For your search, I suggest to embed your keyword with ** and it will works. *CEM* will find any CEM word but also word containing CEM inside. I know it is not the perfect solution but it is the only...
