I never had any tech look at my cat converters when I get a smog check...even if its from a STAR certified center...here in LA.. But if they did do a visual and saw that the new cats are not CaRB...

So what made you think you need new cats?

If you change cats,you still need the upstream and downstream o2 sensors....Any cat will most likely fit but not sure if they would be compatible or even be close to the OE cat converter’s...

That is what's confusing....websites will say if you have 16in wheels then it's the 305mm rotor and if you got 15in wheels then it's the 286mm rotor...are there xc70s with 15in wheels?
