I'm trying to fill my transmission to the right level.
I don't have VIDA, but I know it can read and log transmission temperature (as well as ambient temperature). I'd like to know the normal...
I'm cheap and didn't want to replace the whole blade or arm. It turns out that you can pop the blade off and disassemble it enough to replace just the rubber element itself.
Lift the arm and blade...
My guess is going to be worn bearings, causing excessive clearance and low oil pressure.
Start out with why you replaced the oil pump.
"Calibrate" struck a chord. I turned both sides all the way up and then all the way down. This seemed to reset the range, and now both sides work normally.
The heater doesn't balance driver's and passenger's temperatures correctly, although it used to in the past. If both sides are set for the same temperature, say 72, the passenger's side will blow...
Most of the cross-section has failed in fatigue, a small crack at the right side growing due to repeated loading until only 10-20% of the area remained. At that point, the remaining area (the rough...
The only thing that swings the mirror back is hitting something with it - there is no sensor.
As to repositioning the mirror every time you get in, just position it once, then reset your...

I agree completely with Astro about the Akebono pads. I use the Akebono Euro.
My 2006 with HU-650 has XM radio prep. Will this same prep accept iPad input?
2006 V70 2.5T (like an XC for this purpose)
The tailgate unlocks reliably with the driver's door button, but not with the fob. I can always hear the mechanism work when using the fob, but...
Illumination is not related to the glass; it has to do with the small "puddle lights" in the bottom of the housing.
One source here.
TascaParts shows a separate part:

The wiring for tailgate items is prone to failure at the tailgate hinge, which causes some problems. I don't know if it could cause yours, but might be worth a check.
On these Volvos there are a number of other things that can cause low oil pressure, as you have addressed, but a fundamental cause can be excessive main/rod bearing clearance. Big bucks.
I've read about pushing in central pins in some retaining clips, but these clips have no central pins, just a plastic head about 3/8-1/2 inches in diameter. I've pulled hard (too hard, really) under...
Was that Bruce Cox? He is a local indie that I think is very good.
Tie rods don't "self-align," of course, but they aren't likely to cause vibration, either.
Number one reason cars run hot: Not enough coolant.
Make SURE the cooling system is full, and there are no bubbles or voids in the system. Burp it.
Pilkington worked great with my rain sensor.
But I'm surprised that your insurance doesn't cover windshied replacement (reduced visibility=safety hazard=increased probability of big repair bills...
Not Vancouver, but Bruce Cox in Bellingham, WA, just over the border, is a very good indie Volvo shop.
I'm very happy with Akebono Euro Ceramic pads, after being very unhappy with the dust from OEM and Greenstuff. Virtually no dust. Bought them from FCPGroton.
