I need to buy snow tires for my 2010 XC70 T6 and was wondering what is the best size for the vehicle. It came with 18" wheels but I am thinking of going with either 16s or 17s for the snows.
Found a nice 2010 XC70 T6 at the local volvo dealer yesterday. Will be picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait.
I am looking to purchase a used P3 XC70 and am trying to determine whether paying extra for a T6 model is worthwhile. I do most of my work and have owned many Volvos. This would be my first venture...
We tested an xc90 and didn't like it. Way too big for our needs.
Our trusty 2005 V70 2.5T was totalled last week after taking a hit from the rear from a large SUV piloted by a zombie driver using her cell phone, so I am looking to replace it. We have owned many...
Sold
I bought an aftermarket headunit from crutchfield that came with a replacement panel as well as the harness adapter. You will lose the steering wheel controls but gain all the modern conveniences...
Sorry for the multiple postings but I am having a hard time with the picture upload function. Car is good but does have door dings, etc. 640064016402

Black cross country wagon in good condition. Tan leather interior. Like new Michelins. Recent maintenance includes new rear springs and shocks, and exhaust system. We replaced the stock stereo with a...
The passenger side is a lot worse than the driver side. Also, I believe the space is tighter on our 05 than our 02. We have three p2 wagons and changing bulbs is much worse on these cars than...
OK, I got it. What a PITA. I am thankful I got to do this in my garage and not by the side of the road on a rainy night. If anyone is stuck doing this in the future, it helps to remove the filler...
Not good news. I am going to go back out now and try again. What an incredibly bad design (not the ecu).
I am stuck trying to replace the H11 low beam on the passenger side of my wife's 2005 v70. I can't fit my hands in the headlight cavity in a position to exert enough leverage to twist it out. I...
I have run into this problem several times and it can be frustrating. I think the last time I ended up resorting to my trusty dremel with a cut-off wheel. If you ask me it is a terrible design.
The key fob that came with my 2004 xc70 is in really bad shape. I bought a used one on ebay and was able to open it up and move the innards and back door over but can't figure out how to switch the...
OK, I will try to do this when I replace the driver side door speakers next weekend. I hope it above zero and my fingers have thawed out by then!
The cardboard part of the midrange speaker was totally separated from the speaker housing. I bought a set of MB Quart component speakers and installed the passenger side today. Too cold out to...
The rear springs and shocks ended up costing me $1,000.
I will check on it this weekend. It really could be the speakers. When I move the fader all the way to the front (old or new HU) and turn up the volume, I do get weak crackly sound out of the front...
I just replaced the stock hu613 headunit on my 2004 xc70 with a kenwood unit from crutchfield. I wasn't getting any sound from the front speakers (either side) and I wanted something with bluetooth....
If the lights still work when you push the buttons it is not the fuse. They are tricky to program, so you may need to try again (or if you are like me, again and again and again until it works). ...
Just finished the repair. There was a flexible axle missing from the undercarriage assembly. I was able to special order it from the dealer p/n 8665138 for about $25. It is part #29 on the diagram...
Thanks, I remember fixing the same issue on my old 850. How do I access the motors on the XC70? Do I need to remove the seat and, if so, how do I go about doing that?
