nice! thanks for that. im all over that info. also the transmission cooler, does it have a filter? i thought somebody meentioned that there was a filter for te fluid?

thats what i thought too, in fact one of the guys who worked there told me 'off the record' that the fluid change is not offered by the dealership but that he does it and that should too...so it...

volvo dealership pronounced it DOA. :(

also i have figured out how they work, cleaning, and my passenger side is out, i just found a used one on fleabay for 25 bux there are a bunch for xc v70's ,both sides.

btw, how are these activated? i cant find the controller for them... or do they come on with the wipers automatically?

also i noticed that, when stopped ,and then re-accelerating , when i place my foot on the accelerator ,and also when i take my foot off of the accelerator there is an intermittent thud or 'catch',...

so the rear brake light is out and its throwing a message every time the brakes are used. is there suggested maintenance at this mileage (138k) for any particular system? unbelievably the car runs...
