SKF bearings from Italy feel that way. they are a good bearing and work well. They are the OEM bearing.
Just went through this repair myself. We cut off the broken piece and machined a new one. Bolted it all back together and it works like new!
Can I still buy it if I am boring?
Works great on just about anything rubber or plastic regardless of color!
For whatever reason I decided I needed roof lights on "Tiffany" will take a pic once it is dark.

Just received this picture from the upholstery shop, I am in this final stages of restoring my 780. Thought some fellow Volvo folks would like to see, Some friends convinced me I needed to have the...
Noted, I am familiar with the PCV setup on the 850 and the notorious leak that comes when they are clogged.
How much oil goes through this air tube?
I have not removed it recently, So is the remedy replacing that hose and clearing the PCV?
Well, I pulled into the parking lot today and found that there was some smoke coming from under the hood. It appears to be coming from the area around the large tube coming from the turbo. I did a...
It's good to know, Mobil makes a good product which is why I am fairly exclusive to their oil and premium gas. ( I know my local mobil sells a lot of premium so I know its actually 94)
The Volvo...
I've never had a problem with it as long as I followed the proper sequence and then started working on it, i.e. a weekend projects, installed the cables and then all was right.
Works great in the 850's but not really needed in this beast. I have used it playing around and didn't feel like it would rip the tranny apart. I imagine it would put a lot of heat and strain on the...
I asked this same question about Transmission fluid over a year ago and everyone stated that I should steer away from anything but 3309 or type 4. I went with Valvoline MaxLife® DEX/MERC ATF I looked...
Just checked and yep, could not align the shaft with the hole the first time (there is a joke in there somewhere.) The pedal does seem a little sponge now and the engine bogs down a bit when the...
By not taking the master off I mean I didn't take the brake lines off of the master just moved it slightly out of the way. i just checked the vacuum and i am indeed getting vacuum.
How could the...
Simply put, replaced the brake booster, never removed the master cylinder, everything went like cake, started the car and I cannot push the pedal down at all.
Is there an adjustment to the push-rod?...
