OK... So I probably need a new lock assembly then. Are they $150 from the dealer or do you have another place? Did you do it yourself or do you have to have the dealer do it?

The lock itself is not the main issue, it closes fine. What's frustrating is that the car "thinks" the rear hatch is open although it's perfectly closed.
