What does a person have to do to participate here?

Just at a glance in this forum it looks like others have had site use issues similar to what I am experiencing. But it seems that no one is listening.

If there are administrators and moderators, where are they?

My posts don't appear. I get no response when I use the Contact Us feature.

I get no response to a private message sent to a mod. I get no record of a PM sent to another "Site Leader" having been sent.

What does a person have to do to participate here?

I guess I'll never know as this post probably won't even show up.

Was there any trick to this? I've tried posting an introductory post 3 times now and each time I'm told that it has to be approved by a moderator. I've seen speculation that you need to get to 10 posts before the algorithms stop flagging you....but I'm entirely new to working on cars so I don't have much to contribute other than asking for guidance from others.
