The rear cargo area accessory outlet is not switched, it is continuous so the battery can be charged without even lifting the cargo floor cover, or even a solar trickle charger can be used in case of long term airport parking in a open area.[thumbup]

That is good to know. I've never tried that power outlet with the car not running. I'm always annoyed the front ones require ignition on.
