Grew up in a Volvo family. Family car was a 1963 145, beautiful thing. My personal first was a '67 144 handed down from my grandfather. Really miss that 2 foot stickshift. Textbook maintained, even I understood its workings. Followed by a 244, another hand-me-down from grandad. Then bought a beater 245 that lasted a year. Then lost my way until summer of '13 when I finally could afford my dream car, the XC70. 200k on it, showroom shape, all the Bs and Ws.
