I have recently purchased an XC70 and read your posts with great worry. My new toy seems to exhibit the exact same characteristics as you describe, both a rough idle and intermittent stalling. The car has stalled numerous times recently in heavy traffic and it is very worrying, not at all what I expected from what is my third Volvo.

Before I approach my local dealer I was just wondering whether you managed to have the computer replaced by Volvo Australia and if there is any tricks I should be weary of before I discuss this with them.
