Would you mind sharing your parts supplier for your genuine Volvo parts? I can find plenty of sources for parts, but I'd like a good reliable place with OE parts. Initially I'm looking for a rear wheel bearing, but I'm contemplating doing what you are doing on all 4 corners as well. I have seen this rear bearing from $55 to $206 dollars. That is quit a range. I don't want to throw away money, but I'm not yet sold on all these cheap after market parts just yet.

I've been following your posts on break-in oil for the XC and was wondering what your thoughts are in my particular case.
I recently bought a new V8 XC90 and had the oil changed at 700 miles with M1 10W-30.
With all the myriads of information on this topic, i just would like to know whether it was the right decision. If so, at what mileage would you recommend the next oil change should be? Otherwise, if changing the oil at 700 miles above was not recommended, what would be the recommended corrective course of action?

Hi Gibbons, I was wondering if you know of any good subaru forums? My teenage daughter has a subaru impreza that I would like to start doing preventative maintenance on, she just hit 20k. I know of nasioc.com but I'm not too impressed by it, of course, any forum will be hard to compare against volvoxc.com.

I'll check the garage this weekend and let you know. It is in the there somewhere collecting dust. I have an 05 XC and put in the cup holder last year.

You may have read my write-up. I put 200 uf capacitors on all four door speakers. HU is a 650. Do you think going to the 330 uf will increase the lower end of the mid level enough to make it worth the effort?
