Can anyone confirm?

I'm not in a position to confirm, but it would appear to be the next logical step for the new XC70. My understanding remains that it will initailly be launched with only the 3.2 petrol and D5 diesel. I have been told the T6 will follow at some undetermined time, subject to takeup of the T6 in the '08 V70 and S80.

The T6 is already in the V70 and the S80 will be fitted with it soon (08 MY)

Good news, aren’t they?.

I am looking forward for the new XC70-III and… this engine “sounds” great. Better, of course, that the 3.2 engine.

well. the t6 is perfect for the US market, in europe we're waiting for the d6. i think anyway volvo is making in europe a huge mistake, the new 70s are respecting the euro 4 anti pollution standards instead of the newer euro 5. almost all the new models coming on the market in this period are already euro 5 accredited. unbeliavable for a brand which has anti pollution in the DNA
since i suppose they will shift in a short time to the euro 5, the first cars sold will fastly depreciate. definitely uncorrect.[nonono]
