3 times in the last month this car has left my wife stranded, thankfully once at home. I was going to pull the starter this afternoon and it died on her at the pharmacy AFTER my daughter threw up on her!!!!!!!!!!
The immobilizer is supposed to keep someone from stealing the car, it fails and you cant even start the car? Shouldnt a part like that be fail safe? Shouldnt there be a way around it?
Has anyone had success with a private mechanic replacing this? I cant stand the thought of the dealer putting the screws to me again.[cussing]
Oh, the car WOULD NOT turn over during this escapade, starts anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or two later.
