Where are the Volvo factories located? Obviously there is one in Gothenburg, Sweden, but where are the others? Has Volvo moved any production to China, Mexico or Korea yet?

I'm mainly asking about the passenger car production.

Thanks,

K

These are figures for 2005, as far as I know there have been no changes in
the production locations (the Asian assembly plants are not new ones).

Thanks Willy. I appreciate your help. Is this something you follow mainly because you are in Belgium? or did you just happen to know the specifics?

A bit of both. I am interested in the Volvo brand as such, the fact that they have a major plant
over here only adds to it. I should try to find the time to make a guided tour, should be interesting.
Not only Ford has a plant in Belgium, GM, VW also have one (if I forget one, I trust someone will correct me :))
Perhaps Belgians are good at assembling cars :D
