Trailer lights...again

Anyone know which year XC70’s have the pigtail for trailer lights plug and play? I have a 2006 and cannot find a pigtail around the spare tire or anywhere for that matter.

My '03 had the pigtail, but my 06 doesn't.

Regardless of that you still need a cable to connect to the trailer socket. Over here (GB) the two cables were to a gnat's whisker the same price, even though the later one has a secret looking black box in line.

I wouldn't buy an '03 (lovely car) but the '06 is super!

The longer cable assembly plugs directly into the rear fuse / relay / logic assembly, under the cover just behind the DVD drive unit.

I have just bought a 2002 model XC70 and I wnat to know if there are special needs for connecting a trailer to it? Normaly here we just 'hook' on to to the tail lights, indicators and brake at the wiring behind one of the lights.:cool:
