Hello All,
My wife's 98 XC has been acting up. A few weeks ago once in a while when she lock her car in the office the alarm will go off. Since she is working in a gated area so all she has to do just keep the car unlock. Now this happen yesterday at home when she use the car but it won't start. The battery is dead. I charged overnight and it started right up. Since the XC just finish a 120k tuneup I think everything else should be Ok. So today I called the dealer and trying to locate the spot for the alarm relay without much help. I started dicking around her car. I was able to locate the "Lock Alarm Control". At first I just unplug the puppy and hoping this will give us time to fix the problem but one thing I forgot is that the Alarm also kill the start switch.
Sorry for the long winded story. Now I am trying to located a new replacement unit or someone to fix my? Any clue on where to look? Thanks.
