On a fishing trip to the beach today, the XC got stuck in the sand.
After all four wheels spun for several seconds and dug into the sand, the message "Brake Failure, Stop Safely" appeared.
After shutting down and restarting the car twice, the message dissapeared.
Any XCers out there seen this before?
I want to take the XC to the dealer for a checkup, but since I'll be no where near a Volvo Dealer for another week, is it safe to drive the car?
PS. the VC awd system does transfer most of the power to the rear when necessary; the rear tires dug deeper holes than the fronts. What a bad way to find out. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
