The dealer ship had to scrounge its locations to come up with four new ST's for my 03XC since the ST's have been discontinued.
I have had excellent results with both on road and more importantly off road and snow with the ST's. I could have gotton a few more K miles on paved roads but the off road/wet traction was gone. They are the equivalent of NordFrost 2's and I don't have to change wheels anymore. The loaner I had was a VC70 with STR's which were subjectively a little quieter but the tred block was not agressive.
The only time I have been stuck was in a drift on a snowmobile trail with the ST's.
The car drove like the first time I took it out of the dealership.
Tomorrow its back to fields duck and goose hunting. The last time we pulled on to the paved road we left mud strips for 400 yds. It's raining again today and the fields have become to wet to drive on even for the XC. We will have a 1/4 mile trek tomorrow to set up. -Dick
