Here in Texas; the land of SUV's and large pickups with all with these massive metal deer guard structures attached to the front, it seems the the attitude is to make sure as long as you walk away from a traffic accident it's o.k. Be dam#ed the person you hit.
The '05 stats were released two days ago and it's sad to see this highway fatality problem spun by the government to make like it's improving.
43,443 souls beg to differ.
These stats are one reason my family will always drive a volvo as long as they keep their safety rating.
