Just wondering if any other T6 owners would give me some input on the mileage they are getting. I have only had mine for a week but it seems to be about 13 in town and 20-22 on the hwy
Also can the dealer program the computer to be more fuel friendly . a friend had a programmer for his truck and was able to improve his mpg

Thanks

Not really. Besides, Mears would claim to know about our XC's but they're really Mazda people. I like the guys there but sometimes I feel as if I know far more about my Volvos then they do. As far as I know there's no "plug and play" for these computers. Welcome and I hope you enjoy your XC as much as my wife and I do, even though we don't get to use it the snow much here. :(

The neighbor has an '04 T6 and says they average in the 18's. I think if he modified his driving style--he's a pedal masher--he would easily get another mpg. Stop-and-go conditions will seriously degrade the mileage although the T6 can get mid-20's on the highway.

I have only had our new to us T6 for a few weeks now, but I am averaging 18 MPG. This is mostly intown with a few highway trips. We have been using the A/C quite a bit. I am not disappointed, we average almost exactly the same in our '05 Pilot. My husband is a very aggressive driver, so when he drives, I know the fuel economy goes down ;)

Before we moved to SoCal, we were getting 16 in the city and 23 on the highway (when I kept it under 90). In SoCal, though, it's not been so good. Current tank is showing an average speed of 13 mph with an avg mpg of 11.8!
