View Full Version : Factory Nav system

I picked up the 2002 Volvo accessory book.  It shows the DVD based navigation system with the screen that rises from the center speaker grill in the dash.

Has anyone had this installed by the dealer?  If so, how did it go?  I had a DVD based Nav system in my Acura, and I really miss it!

At $2500, it is costly, but nice if you do a lot of travel to parts unknown (that are covered on the DVD)

Hi!

My navi system is awesome. The software is the best I've seen by now. Very flexible - fast graphics - easy to use - and a very goot TMC integration.

There is no price standing in the accessory book for integrating the nav later on by the dealer - price on request. Hmm. There are o lot of parts of the navi  spread over the vehicle - so it is not an easy job.

Check the photo section - I posted some pictures about my nav system.

BTW - There is a software update for the DVD nav system available by now. Ask your dealer. Solves some minor bugs in the display.
