Dose anyone know if it is possible to change the infosystem from US to metric system? Ie from MPH to Km/h - Gallons to Litres and so on?

Check with Volvo dealership as I believe these things can be changed via a software download.

Yes, it can be changed via VADIS. My XC is a canadian spec, so it was already in metric, but was changed from English to French.
