"Better milage"? "Improved engine performance"? "Longer battery life"? Sounds like snake oil to me, right in the spirit of the $10 "performance" chips and $16 vortex generators for sale on eBay. If this thing did anything to improve performance or economy it would likely do so at the expense of gradual damage to your XC's electronic components.

They claim "brighter lights", too. Nice, maybe, but you can bet the bulbs won't last as long. Better leave this one alone.

I join in Todd's advice: stay away from this. Some things to consider:
(1) The exact same pitch for this "XC70" device appears to be made for every other vehicle
(2) It is advertized on those mindless TV ads that claim miracles
(3) You have a car with an extremely sensitive and complicated electrial system, toying with it with junk like this is quite risky.
