I was looking at Volvo's "tunnel mat" (about $13 +Shipping), and it seemed to be too expensive for a small piece of carpet.
Well, yesterday was at WalMart and noted very thin "rear mat" for $1.00 !
It had cut out in the middle, I cut that semi-cirle out and cut on the sides so it had 1-2" lip under the rubbet mats for the rear seats. It fits well and looks O.K. Original carpet started to wear out because of dirt/snow/salt on the roads.
My daughter uses middle seat, so it should protect original carpet esp. during winter.
