Talked to the Volvo " product specialist" at the Detroit show, It will debut in Europe next year first then the US. Official release will happen at one of the EU auto shows.

The photos back up what she said re: styling, not much will change from the Detroit car.

Next big question, How much for this?

Hey Volvo. I asked my two 16 yr old nephews, "what was there favorite car at the show?" Both said the new little Volvo was the one that stood out especially knowing that it's going to be produced.

Wife's Mini Cooper paid up and 5 years old in September - maybe time to get her a new car and I've already being looking at the C30. Not told her yet!

We're both very pleased with the XC70 and I'm sure the 30 wouldn't disappoint. Besides, it'll stop her wanting to drive my car all the time!

Volvo will have to become more reasonable about the price for C30. If indeed they want about $34K for it, then who is going to buy it. Might as well go with a larger Volvo that will cost the same amount of money as C30.
