If you hadn't noticed on the homepage, we've just completed an interview with Jonathan Dale who was responsible for designing the interior of the new ACC2 concept car.

First: This is a concept car, so a little, or even more than a little http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif of impracticality is a must, so some of my further comments are just inappropriate.
Second: For my taste the car is just... beautiful...
Third: There are some buts:
If this is ACC (Adventure Concept Car) I was expecting some inevitable elements of adventure driver's and passengers protection: if you are driving off road (or off good road) keeping the passengers and driver in the position will be difficult in these beautiful sits. I am afraid people will move left and right too much... But the sits are just... sexy!!!
I have seen only few photos, and my knowledge is limited, but once again on the off road (bad road) situation a separation between the trunk and passenger compartment is something that can not be omitted.
If this is DCC (Design Concept Car) the work is great!!!

I love the aluminum panel for the meters... they should offer it as an optional accessory today.

O.K. I love the look of the car. The interior colour, steel and alluminum through out the vehicle reminds me a Viking Stove not sure if you guys know what it is but us chicks dig this stove.

The leather reminds me of the kind of purse we girls cant afford. How sexy would it be to make out with brown leather hugging your body... maybe one day I will find out. Now I know why the Hotel Jukkasjarvi inspired it... the look is sexy as heck...grrrrrrr.

The exterior of the vehicle is great. Even though it's a concept car, it does not look like one. It's mainstream and eye catching.

Girls will love this car. She's like one of us. She has attitute, style and commands attention. I dig this Volvo.

Ok as the (apparently) only female responding - I do know what a Viking Stove is however I don't necessarily want one in my garage.  The one comment I see is lack of driver and passenger stability.  The seats do not look like they will control lateral movement on any twisty roads let alone off road.  My test is always the sea to sky up to whistler or the highway out to Long ucuelet on the west coast- I don't think they would feel secure.  They look neat- but...

I have a low gimick tolerance - I feel this is where north american cars break down alot- trying to put all the latest bells and whistles ( automated folding rear seats) that just create more parts to break down and add frustration.

It does not look like a kid friendly interior- car seats will slide and scratch the rear seats, rear cup holders anyone?
