Overseas program vs best price at dealer

Hello everyone
Our family is in the market for a new XC and would like any advice on getting the best deal at a dealer, what should we shoot for for a good price.
We looked at the overseas program and think that would be nice but we have two very youg children and think this may be a bit difficult to do.

Hi, I just bought an XC from a dealer.  I believe I paid invoice price (as per Edmunds.com and Consumer Reports information).  With the Premium, Touring and Cold Weather packages it came to &#3638K and change.  I hope that's a helpful data point.  I know CarsDirect.com also offers a similarly equipped XC for about the same amount.

I've got 02 XC in October 2001 with Premium, Touring, Cold weather and roof rack for &#3636,300. Back then it was dealer incentive for &#363000 from Ford, don't know about now. Hop my comments will help
