My local dealership called today to tell me they had me a car they want to sell me.....I mean they had me a loaner and for me to bring mine in for some warranty work i scheduled last week. It's a 2001 with 40,000 on it, warranty out in Aug.. I have a list of things for them to look at but I'm not sure all will be covered.
windshiels washer not working.
rusty bolts.
both of these they told me are covered.
Another problem is with the stereo and cd forward tuner button. It's pushed all the way in and seems to change stations and cd songs when it gets bumped a bit.Is that covered?
I also recieved a coupon for a free tire rotation with a brake inspection. What does a brake inspection cost if anything? I feel pretty confident they will find something to sell me.
Is there anything I should have them look at or check out?
Other than a few minor things the car is running great.
Any help would be apprieciated.

Sounds like you are doing it correct, make a list of items that are of concern to you and ask them to fix them. Most will be covered. :)

As I read here, let them check:
AC fan (in the middle of the radio panel, sometimes gets dirty),
turn signal switch (left position gets "sticky"),
what about:
AT fluid (they will say it's lifetime warranty, but you have a record)
wheel adjustments, measure the suspensions,
ETM module check, if you had some strange situation (for record),
read out VADIS error codes, and let them explain if any,
check for available software upgrades.
