I purchased my 03 XC with 34,500. The car is certified so I’m assuming that they did all the service needed including the 35,000 service.

Because the service is pretty expensive for really performing minimal stuff (stuff that I can mostly do) what are your recommendations on the mileage service I SHOULD have the dealer do?

Thanks for your time!

I recommend that you follow the Volvo schedule. If you are comfortable doing the work yourself then by all means do it, but keep some form of record of having done so. I keep a log (recording date & miles as well as the work done) and receipts. What you don't want to do is selectively skip recommended servicing thereby giving the manufacturor a basis to deny a warranty claim if they can assert a relationship between the skipped service and the problem. Have the dealer do the servicing you aren't comfortable with.
