Front and boot wipers

Hi!
I noticed that when I move the right handle up to wipe the rainwater of the front window the boot wiper will also move the first two times I do it :confused:
Any one else that seen this strange behaviour?

When you say this are you referring to having the car in reverse as well. It is known that if you have the car's wipers set to intermittent and put it into reverse, the rear wiper will wipe as well, until you go into first gear again. Other than what I have just said, I have never (or I can't remember anyway) the rear wiper coming on by just 'flicking' the handle up once to do a single front wipe.

Though I have the rain sensor wipers: I believe the rear wiper is only to come on when the car is in reverse and the wipers on (that's how it works on mine).

My MY 2001 will also do this.

Mine only does this in reverse. It may be a software control that can be changed. (Just a guess).
