I have almost 25K miles on my '03 XC70. Both left tire are at 7/32" whereas both right ones are at 6/32". I find this odd. Surely the road surface and friction near roads center and curb side can't be that much different. Any speculations as to why this is so?
Tire rotation?

Can't rotate directionals.....
But I thought of that when I had my Tellus wheels replaced (long story), and switched the 13K mile WRs from side to side. They weren't wearing differently, I just did it for fun.

The tires on the xc are unidirectional?
My LH front is wearing more than the other three, I will have to start switching them around
