Just an idea for your skis

This is the way I carried my skies on my 2,400 round trip to the northern Alps.

I have a bag for my xc ski's and poles and I simply put them inside the vehicle!-Dick

How many pairs of skis/poles does the bag hold?

With my 3 kids in the back seat, or you carry the skis on the Thule bars or you put them inside like in the pics.

nº 2 option is silent and les gas consuming.

Let's see... the skis edges get worn by the barrier and the edges scratch the barrier. Also, my skis are snowy or dirty at the end of the day. I think I will stick with the Thule box. ;)

In answer to the ski bag question, mine carries two sets of skis and poles with inner divisions and ties. Works pretty well for airline travel and in the back of a vehicle.
