I hope that I don’t get flamed for starting this topic, but I couldn’t help notice that many of the responses originating from this thread (http://volvoxc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5302) were from previous supporters. We all know that Taylor is one swell guy for providing this tremendous website for us all, so wouldn’t it be great if we treated him to a little TLC for a change? :)

I also know for a fact that he wouldn’t make this thread stick because of the free-hearted person that he is, so this effort to reach out may likely be a one time affair. The intent of my message is really not to give off any vibes of an obligatory nature, but simply a way to acknowledge Taylor for his creative talent and hard work in making the site what it is today. http://volvoxc.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

So what d’ya say folks...anyone interested in becoming a supporter? (http://volvoxc.com/forums/showgroups.php?)
Here’s (http://volvoxc.com/marketplace/donate/) your opportunity. :)

Taylor has done a superb job and we all are grateful for the many hours of unpaid effort put into the site. I did manage a modest financial renewal over Christmas and hope others can take up the challenge as well. Thank you Taylor, you have brought together many enthusiasts from across the world.

At the same time, an acknowledgement is due to the many posters who have shared their knowledge and time on the issues facing our cars. They are easy to spot by the # of posts in the right hand corner of responses. In many cases this has involved substantial research (though all too modest to admit it) on their part to get us answers. Thanks guys.

Together you have this site a natural resource for all XC owners.

I might be wrong about this, but I've read somewhere that there are about two thousand people on this board. Now if there are two thousand of us and only 50% of that number would contribute $5 every couple of months, this would make Taylor's life so much easier. He must be spending an inordinate amount of time and effort, not talking about money, to run this place. Most of us can surely forego one and one and a half cups of caffeelatte at starbucks to help him at least financially. I see people on this board telling others what we should or should not discuss on this board, but how many of us are willing to talk about money. I know the rule is no talking about money, politics, and religion. But I never could follow the rules. But again, I might be wrong about this . . .
