Java brown/ sapphire black mettalic

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago, we ordered a silver metallic XC70 D5 (in Holland). Although we prefered the Java brown exterior color, our dealer told us that this color would not be available for the XC70 2003, Volvo has now the black sapphire color which looks almost the same as the Java brown, is this the same color with just a different name, or is it really different?

If we like the black sapphire more than our ordered silver metallic, do you think we can still change it?

The Java brown was a medium metallic brown, would be lighter than any black, whether the black is plain (not metallic) or saphire, a metallic black. So the colors are different. Also the Java brown is not available in the U.S. for MY2003 cars.

With respect to changing, it depends where your order is in the process, people in the U.S. seem to be able to change their order 2-3 weeks after original order entry.

Hi DC !!
Saphirblack is defently black with 1 % brown.
I know this because that is my choosen colour.Here in germany you can change the order 2 weeks.
Please note when you order black you became brown claddings-i like it very much, but some people didnt like that.
